When I tell people that I will be speaking in Russia, their eyes open a bit wider with a look of surprise. I believe this reaction is the result of two things; First, anticipation for the seemingly mysterious adventure that awaits me, and second, confusion about what exactly I do for a living. Many have asked me to “let them know how it goes”, as a result, I will blog about my experience right here!

In this blog series, I will chronicle my trip to Russia and discuss the many experiences that I have during this great adventure. I will write about the people I meet, the things I learn, the places I see, and of course, how I ended up with this gig in the first place!

My wife makes fun of me when we go on trips because I love talking to people on the plane. Perhaps its something I picked up from my Mother and Father growing up, but I have found that a treasure is waiting to be discovered in every conversation.
